My photographs of dark interior spaces reflect my desire for refuge in a safe, domestic space, and the anxiety I feel from conflicts experienced in the outside world. They are an exploration of contrast within a black and white palette, and psychological conflict metaphorically, and they also investigate the abstraction that occurs when space itself becomes a subject.
